A little bit about us and our suppliers

Welcome to Eco-flair, where most products sold have a recycled twist to it.  Based in the heart of England, Eco-flair is an online independent family run business that was started a couple of years ago after the birth of my daughter.  We started with a few products and soon as our customer base and the demand for other items started grow and eventually we started to grow.

Eco-flair specialises in:
Recycled Jewellery
Recycled Home Accessories
Recycled Handbags
Recycled Wallets & Purses
Recycled Shopping/Travel Bags &
Everyday Recycled Stationary
EcoSenses - handmade candles and soaps that are dedicated to rest and relaxation

We stock a range of different products that are ideal for personal use, as gifts and also as goodie bags for those special birthday parties (please contact us at info@eco-flair.com for a discounted price on bulk purchase).

While some of the accessories are made from recycled glass, others are made from recycled juice packs and plastic packaging.  Choose from our unique and exciting range of recycled accessories and stationary to help you live greener.  They may not be your typical Prada, Burberry or D&G, but here are Eco-flair, we believe that these accessories are the next trendsetters in the fashion industry.

A little bit about our suppliers

Here at Eco-flair we believe in supporting both the local economy and the global economy.  While our glass collection including all home accessories and jewellery are made in the UK, our stationary and bag collection is produced by a women’s co-ooperative in the Philippines

Based in the south west of England, our recycled wine glass and tumbler makers are all about making a difference to our planet.  Like Eco-flair, they too are passionate about the environment and hence the reasons why they source out used beer and wine bottles from local pubs and households and turn them into funky and yet practical tumblers and wine glasses.  Broken glass is also used to produce beads for jewellery such as bracelets and necklaces, which are also available through us.

Our bag and stationary  collection are fair trade accessories that are made by a women's cooperative in the far east. The cooperative employs approximately 200 women who are usually the family's main breadwinners.  The cooperative provides a means for earning a decent wage that not only supports their family’s daily needs, but enables them to educate their children.

The cooperative organises a regular collection of juice packs from a number of venues including homes, schools, hospitals and community centres.  By making such accessories these women prevent vast quantities of juice packs from being burnt or buried in landfills.

We also work with a glass artist in the UK who produces elegant jewellery and our bowls and more collection.  She receives glass bottles and jars (and occasionally window glass) from friends, family and the local community who want to see the glass go to better use.
